A year ago I built the Overnight Sensations TMs and have really enjoyed them. I am looking to build another pair of speakers for listening to music. I currently do not have a subwoofer hooked up but I could add one if needed but I'd prefer to leave as a 2.0 setup. My room size is about 20x30. I am looking to stay in a $300-500 budget but I could be persuaded to bump that up some if needed. I looked at the OSMTM, Amigas, and Fusion 10s, but there's so many choices that it's a bit overwhelming. Any suggestions for my next build? Thanks!
If you can manage the necessary cabinet making ( as this kit doesn't seem to have a matching flat-pack available ) , then Jeff Bagby's Denham MTM Kit will undoubtedly deliver the goods into the first half of your ( somewhat ) large listening space .
I guess I could be wrong, but I thought the denham could be built with this cabinet from parts express.... http://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-mtmc-10ch-10-cu-ft-mtm-curved-speaker-cabinet-cherry--302-753 Others might be able to confirm or otherwise, but I believe what became the denham were originally discussed by Jeff in this forum post on the parts express tech talk forum http://techtalk.parts-express.com/showthread.php?223870-My-RS180-MTM-Design&highlight=bagby+rs180
