I posed this at AVS, but here goes here .. Hey all, I'm interested in maybe upgrading to the Fusion-12's for my HT from my current setup. Currently, I have 5 Elemental Design Cinema 12's with the upgraded DE-250 CD. While I like the DE-250 CD for it's dialogue clarity and overall smoothness, I don't care for the woofer that was put into the Cinema 12 design. It's lifeless and really lacks a punch. Almost as if the woofer is non-existent. I tried to find specs for the Cinema 12 woofer, but can't find them anywhere as eD is out of business. AFAIK the woofer is a generic Eminence woofer. (which doesn't help at all). I'm a speaker building noob (or noob in general). No way around it. Would I be better off starting fresh and buying the Fusion-12 tempests, or trying to upgrade the woofer/crossover in my current Cinema-12s? I hope this thread makes sense! I'm going to find out the brand of eminence woofer and physical measurements of the cabinet tonight when i get home. Update: the woofer is a kappa pro 12 a
