I'm new to SEOS waveguides. I want to get the SEOS-8 to experiment with. It says for use with dome tweeters. Any one in particular? How does it mount to the waveguide? Is there some documentation on this? Thanks.
It's been tried and shown to work well with the Dayton RS28A and RS28F, see the "Marksman" under "Speaker Kits". Presumably others will work also. Here's some discussion over on Parts Express TechTalk: http://techtalk.parts-express.com/forum/tech-talk-forum/67478-now-that-erich-has-the-dome-tweeter-waveguide-anyone-designing-something-using-it The waveguide flange was made extra thick, apparently plenty strong enough to just use regular wood screws to attach the tweeter. I understand there is some benefit to sanding the surface of the flange very smooth to eliminate any possible gaps between tweeter and waveguide. Hope that helps.
